Our SQE friends and partners

There are some brilliant people and organisations supporting aspiring solicitors and SQE students. We've brought together a few resources that we genuinely rate and are happy to recommend.

Some are organisations we work with, while others simply offer something we think is particularly useful to students.

The Training Contract Mentor

Free support for aspiring solicitors looking for training contracts, particularly those who may not qualify for some of the established access schemes. They offer practical, individual support without charging students for their help.

Elliot Schatzberger

Elliot is an experienced legal educator who really knows how to make complicated legal topics feel manageable. He offers live, interactive SQE teaching, with plenty of opportunity for students to ask questions, get individual feedback and work through the areas they’re finding difficult. He also happens to be one of our Revise SQE authors, so we know first-hand just how knowledgeable he is!

The Corporate Law Academy

The Corporate Law Academy is a large and active community for aspiring lawyers, with a particular focus on securing training contracts and developing commercial awareness. Its forum is a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get advice from others going through the same process. You'll also find Revise SQE there, with our own thread where students can ask us questions directly.

Mellor SQE Services

Mellor SQE Services offers personalised one-to-one tuition for SQE1 and SQE2, with training tailored to each student and their individual needs. Students work with the same dedicated tutor throughout, with plenty of opportunity for feedback and support along the way. We’ve known Sallyann, who runs Mellor SQE Services, for more than 20 years, going right back to our LPC days, so we’re very happy to recommend her.

Law Drills

LawDrills offers adaptive SQE preparation, using your performance to identify the areas where you need more practice and tailor your revision accordingly. There are thousands of SQE1 multiple-choice questions to work through, with detailed explanations to help you understand not just whether you got an answer right or wrong, but why.

We’ve worked with the team at LawDrills for several years and are very happy to recommend them as a great way to practise and test your knowledge alongside your Revise SQE books.
