Some Considerations about Booking your Assessments
Make sure you plan your assessment dates effectively:
- Advanced Planning: The SRA typically releases dates 12–18 months in advance
- Early Booking: Popular centres fill up quickly (London and Manchester especially)
- Location Flexibility: Sometimes slightly further locations have better availability
- Timeline Planning: Work backwards from when you want to qualify, then plan your preparation timeline
- Scheduling Flexibility: Allow adequate time between SQE1 and SQE2
Remember, you cannot sit SQE2 until you have passed SQE1, so plan your timeline accordingly. Having multiple opportunities throughout the year provides flexibility in your preparation schedule.
